CM:TS - Prototyping
The main selling point of the game will be running big data centers with a lot of hardware. Because of this, the simulation has to be very well optimized and I'm going to use a lot of RAM caching data to make it run really smooth.
When I started this project, I didn't know much about the mining process, so I had to learn a lot to make the game as realistic as possible.
I decided to use the browser to prototype, as I wasn't sure what the user interface would even look like. Getting the backend logic up and running is the first step.
